Trip Overview

Druk path trek (2800 to 4800 meters above sea level) is one of the best treks in Bhutan. Leading all the way through an ancient trading route, over high mountain passes, it connects the valleys of Paro and Thimphu. The Druk Path go after well-trodden trails in the west of the country.

On the way to Druk path trek, it crosses astonishing countryside passing blue pine forests, dwarf rhododendrons, high ridges, and spectacular lakes. This trek also offers hikers eye-catching views of the highest unscaled peak in the world Mt. Gangkar Puensum. From late February to May and from September to December the trek is possible, even though snow sometimes closes the route in late autumn and early spring. In April and May, afternoon showers are common. Days are usually warm, but nights can be very cold and you should always be geared up for snow. Avoid July and August because it is the monsoon season. If you're a masochist, in a single day you can even race through the trek: an old punishment for Bhutanese military was a forced one-day march along this route.

Adventure trek in Nepal organized the tour in Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan and also provides you a really unforgettable memory in your lifetime.
